Well for anybody that wants to see a list that excludes ports, this is the 2017 list:

1. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (WIIU)
2. Persona 5 (PS4)
3. Horizon: Zero Dawn (PS4) 
4. NieR: Automata (PS4)
5. Night in the Woods (PS4)
6. Nioh (PS4)
7. Night in the Woods (PC)
8. Resident Evil 7: biohazard (XONE)
9. Resident Evil 7: biohazard (PS4)
10.Hollow Knight (PC) 

To be fair, Zelda BotW is brand new game, not port of some old game.

It's a new game yes, but a new port.  I can't imagine they made the game just in time for the release of the Switch.  They probably already finished it for the Wii U and held it's release so they can port it to the Switch to release for launch.  That's why I kept the Wii U version on the list.
