Tracks are what I care about, I almost never bother with Battles at all in any kart game, and new characters don't interest me.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is basically just a minor performance improvement for me, and the benefit of not having to turn on a WiiU.
60fps in 3 Player local would have been fantastic as that's pretty much where I spend all my time in Mario Kart.
