Nintendo already tried to stick with the Wii concept with the Wii U. And we all know how it ended. This would be the same.

Btw it's way too early to make these threads. We still don't know if the Switch concept will be a success.

Switch is much less oriented on having fad-based software drive market adoption. So I don't think pending its success that it would have the same type of fade the Wii brand did.

It's not contingent on an unreliable or wishy washy consumer base.

Agreed, as long as Switch and future devices of it's kind continue to be succesful there's no reason to ever change from the concept, and unlike the Wii I don't think Switch will be particurly difficult to hit the same success again.

Unfortunate for me as I would like a dedicated home console, but Switch is likely the best thing for Nintendo.
