This irked some local goons and they lynched him to death because nobody had answer to his question and uni didn't do much to stop it.. According to me this has nothing to do with Islam its just lack of proper education or better of word literacy, because at one side there was this Muslim who was liberal and other just plain mob mentality hiding behind the religion. |
What was the end result of this. Were the students that killed the other students punished, put in jail or anything or did they totally ignore what occured. Its one thing for people to act violent based on any belief its another if their society does not have rules and punishment to deal with such actions.
