I wouldn't worry about 3rd party support. Nintendo consoles don't really live or die anymore based on 3rd party games. They are just an additional plus for those few who only buy Nintendo consoles and don't get one of the others too.
I'd be more worried (not yet worried though) about Nintendo potentially having large game droughts as they sometimes are prone to do. Especially for me who pretty much only plays RPGs, I don't think i'll be able to justify buying a Switch in 2017.
