Of Course that this game is a remaster and not new game, but for people who didnt had Wii U that doesnt matter at all, for them this is a brand new game, and yes this game in combination with Zelda will sell more hardware, beacuse you had some people who didnt want to buy Switch just for Zelda but now they will have two must have games, one great single player game and one great multiplayer game, Switch with MK8D will become much more attractive. There are and there will be much more than "few people who didn't get it on Wii U", Switch is much more appealing for market than ever Wii U was and handheld lowers are buying it also. You will see in two weeks what effect will have MK8D in Japan for instance.

Even those who didn't buy it before know it's an old game though. It doesn't have the kind of anticipation and excitement that accompanies a major new release because, well, it isn't one.

Again, that really doesn't matter, because they didn't played that game, for them thats brand new game.
When I bouth TLoU Remaster, for me it was brand new game.
