-I find that with Zelda BOTW people tend to bring up the Witcher 3 alot to remark as to why its not as great as it is. Whether its the gameplay, weapons breaking or conversational trees. Most of those guys forget anyway that Zelda is at the tipping point of being an RPG, but actually isnt.
The few last of us haters sometimes tend to bring up the fact that the game is highly cinematic, but I always tell them to play the game on the highest difficulty. That tends to shut them up. If that doesnt shut them up then multiplayer generally does. Naughty Dog games are no slouch in the gameplay department.
I dont hear many people talking about odyssey or Red Dead though in a negative light. You cant find a better sole platformer than Mario Odyssey and with Red Dead you probably wont find many open world games that will stop what Read Dead has planned...not even BOTW.
