I obviously wouldn't want the United States' dominance to just be replace by another one, but that seems like a way for the USA to jsut do anything malicious that they want, by scaring people into thinking that if they don't something worse will replace them.

Something worse would replace them if they were taken down by force. Im not sure what can be done at this point. Who or what could replace them?
