I thought that this needed its own thread, since on the other one the overwhelming ( which is logical ) majority talks about switch version perfomance!
Impressive opening... I was expecting that it would do very well in the USA ( Zelda Land ) but I'm surprised that it did the 50% sales of switch verion, I was anticipating somewhat less.
So the last wii u game will be an easy million seller... ( shipped+digital must be 1m even before the end of March )...It should sell more than 1m in the USA alone. Also, the game might help wii u global software sales to finally hit the 100m milestone!
If Nintendo is willing to keep shipping wii u version copies at least till holidays, we should see the game in the top ten best selling wii u games ( first party ), it only needs 2.1m to manage it!
P.s Do you consider that if there was no switch and BOTW was just a wii u game, could it push a lot of wii u units even at this point?
