Switch Needs a Wii Sports/Nintendo Land/Wii Play.

Nintendo can't even get them to pay $10 for a 2D Mario game anymore on hardware they already own. They're not willing to pay anything for games anymore, you can thank Apple and Google for that, they have totally warped the value of video games in the minds of that audience completely (just as MP3 downloading completely has destroyed the traditional music sales market ... a lot of people are simply unwilling to pay for music now by the album). 

1,2 Switch was just a little experiment by Nintendo IMO. If it worked out fine, if it didn't then at least they suckered a few people into paying $50 for it, which would more than cover it's dev costs. 

If they're gone why did Nintendo have the 'wii wheels' available since launch for Mario Kart? Why make 1, 2 Switch? Why have motion control for Zelda? Have you seen anyone speak about ARMS without mentioning Wii Sports Boxing? All of a sudden motion control is acceptable if it's motion plus levels of accuracy, something Wii owners were saying back in 2010.

The idea that people are getting their Wii Sports fix from a smartphone game is a joke. It's the hardcore PSP owners who fucked off to smartphones not Nintendo gamers. 'Da cazualz' aren't as dumb as you think, they're the ones who refuse to spend cash on the exact same shit they played last year. They demand new experiences. Wii Fit and Pokemon Go with their weight-loss achievements are less 'cazualz' than the clowns who buy anything from Telltale games. At least Wii Sports/Fit are actual games and not 'play our shitty D-movie story' games.

1,2 switch is Wii Play. Ie, this is a taster of what you can expect from future games. Wii Play was sold too cheap last time and Nintendo aren't going to make that mistake again. Nintendo has correctly read the stupid, vocal hardcorez and Nintendo know that they wont get away with releasing 'da cazualz' games without something for the core lest they start crying.

It isn't just Nintendo. MS would have loved to repeat Kinect and Sony's Move titles did respectable numbers. If you think Nintendo aren't going to try and get EVERYONE gaming again then I don't know what to say to you.

edit: dumb cazualz won't pay $10 for 2D Mario???? You'll see how much 'da cazualz' will pay for 2d mario when the next game rakes in a billion dollars revenue instead of the paltry 50m the smartphone ripoff did.
