i think there is almost a zero percent chance that it wont win another NPD again. while XB1 hasnt won a lot of NPD's compared to the PS4. it still managed to win quite a few and should be able to win more. 

I think it has at least one good shot with Scorpio.  I fully expect Scorpio to be a minority subset product, borderline niche, as the Pro is looking like but worse.  However, early adopters will adopt early, it will have a launch rush.  But Xbox is in danger of becoming the third wheel here.
