Only reason sequels came to DS is because MS has no competitor in that space and allowed it. Hell we nearly had Halo on DS. We have enough proof from Kamiya's word and the fact this kind of publishing deal of owning the game is VERY VERY common.

It still doesn't mean that we'll never ever see bayo 2 on PC. We can already play it via Cemu for example.

But the chances are as likely as Zelda Botw on PC. Again as Kamiya said.
