First impressions -
- Nice, vibrant, crisp 8bit graphics. Like most modern 8bit games, things are being done that couldn't be done/done well on actual 8bit consoles.
- Offers 3 characters that act as difficuly levels. They're also variations of link ( sword, bow, boomerang)
- From what I can tell it feels like this is how fast can you beat the game. You are to light 4 shrines on every map with enemies and environmental puzzles ( carry key/artifact to location, trap rooms, flip switch and get to area before door closes ) acting as obstacles, and then beat the boss. Time is always ticking even when you die.
- So far bosses are fun. 3 phases that involve finding some way to expose and beat the core up.
