There'll also be the problem with South Koreans being hostile towards them, as it'll cost a lot of money to reintegrate them. They also won't be trained for jobs that many South Koreans need, so they could have trouble finding employment and grow extremely restless. |
There's always the possibility of the US occupying them for a time, supplying them with food and other necessities and propogating them with US values. The only thing I see not happening potentially is the food. But then again, we have given them a lot of supplies in the past. But Russia prob wouldn't like it, so if it happens under a Trump presidency it definitely wont happen.
