Second variation doesn't make sense, because that's basically Switch, but totally make sense to have smaller Switch just for handheld playing, so basically what you wrote but without connection to TV.

Hardly Nintendo should sell them two for $80 if they dont have any profit, that's accessory and console companies best profit usually have on accessories.
