Anyone who thought a reality TV star was magically going to change how the global economy works is incredibly naive anyway. You have no idea how the economy works, nor the powers that be that keep it running, and you also likely made the dumb assumption that these people are stupid, which they are not.

In addition the idiociy that Trump was an "outsider" ... the dude lives on freaking Wall Street, lol. He is as much of a card carrying member as you can get.

I take issue with this comment.  Yes Trump is a reality TV star but he didn't tout that as the reason he got the presidency.  The thing that made him qualified to people and the reason he got his reality job is because of his business experience.

If his business experience was the reason people choose him for president then that is probably even worst of a reason then him being an outsider.  Trump business experience means nothing in a job that is totally political.  The players in the public sector are way different then in the private.  As we see today the shear lack of political experience is killing pretty much everything Trump does because he and his adminstration has no clue how to run in these political circle.  the thing is as a business CEO, Trump really wasn't all that great to begin with and as a President, it will be interesting to see if he can change things around.  The thing is, I believe he is way out of his league and out of his element.  I am sure what he thought the job of being President is and what the reality of the job is totally different.
