Pointing out supposed flaws

It's not "supposed". The word "because" as a conjunction implies the second part is either a cause or proof of the first part. It's neither, so a conjuntion such as "and" or "therefore" should be used.

in what was written is nothing more than a last-ditch effort to discredit,

No. If I was tryin to discredit you, I would have outright claimed that one grammatical error proved you wrong. Since I wrote "it neither proves nor diproves your point", it's therefore not an attempt to discredit you. I was just trying to point out that one sentence has a bad conjuntion.

otherwise you would not have brought it up.

Now you are assuming you know my mind. How about I just noticed it as I was writing. That was why I wrote an elipsis just before I brhought it6 up, to signify that.

It is off-topic, and a troll attack aimed at the intellect of the writer.

No. I would have claimed you were stupid for that one mistake (and some do that). If you had paid attention to what I wrote, you would have seen I did no such thing.

You know this.

No, you are assuming it.

I consider the use of the word "because" quite valid in this context

Did you read what you wrote? You wrote that Nintendo doesn't consider it important because you have not plans to shuffle around data with the SD cards. You used your intentions to prove Nintendo's intentions. That is not valid in any sense. Using quote from people from Nintendo was at least valid as attempts of proof, since you were using people from Nintendo, not yourself.

, but I will reserve that discussion for a forum more suitably targeted to the written word. Please stay on topic... I can't believe we are discussing the usage of the word "because". Who are you, Bill Clinton?

I was just trying to fucking help. You just saw it as an attack, when I made sure to make statements indicating it wasn't. You ignored those, so I say you are using this as an attempt to discredit me.

I don't agree with your conclusions about Nintendo's intentions, but I am NOT USING THAT GRAMMATICAL ERROR TO DISCREDIT YOU. I was just fucking pointing it out.

Furthermore, your thoughts and opinions do not prove Nintendo _is_ working on the problem, either. You obviously believe they are. I believe they are not. Who is right? Time will tell, but as evident by Nintendo's previous comments on the subject, I won't be holding my breath.
