Err, I get them from the BBC and I agree with the poster. I still reserve judgment both on Trump AND Assad, but think he was beyond reckless by responding to violence with MORE VIOLENCE.
If his bottom line is that Assad can stay for now but has to retire when everything is said and done, I will live with that. Better than evicting people from their seat of power.
As for this, it seems Senate and House congressmen are even MORE divided, since the Dems said he should've asked for permission and the Republicans are torn between cheering and telling him off for starting another war like President Weed.
And Le Pen said no, which only solidifies my support for her...
