Projectiles at a distance, dodge and down smash attacks, follow up in the air. I play my Pikachu and R.O.B. almost the same exact way, except I think my R.O.B. is much more evil. Always complaints about poor Pika though... I think its the constant "Pika!" that annoys people more so then what he's actually doing. |
I totally agree with you on Pikachu! He doesn't deserve all the hate he gets. I think it's the constant yelling of his name that tick people off, I mean if MetaKnight would yell "METAAAAA!" with his tornado and "MetAAAKniiiight" with his Up-B we'd see much more MetaKnight hate. |
Pikachu's down smash comes off faster than ROB's, his Down + B is extremely annoying on certain fields, and he can spam his projectile whereas ROB can't. The real problem is that fighting Pikachu is like fighting against Wolf, everyone who uses the character fights nearly the exact same way. Just to show the absurdity of it, I once watched Fred do 5 Down smashes in a row. It's like people forget they have other moves with Pikachu the moment they choose him. |
Well in Brawls the down smash is really effective maybe I sometimes use it too often but it's so fun to get 2-3 opponents twirling in the down smash. As for one on one, I think my Pikachu has really nice variety!
