"More or less" is key here. There is zero grounds for expecting a 100% increase for the Switch in 2018 at this point in time.

I always treat the DS and PS2 as anomalies, they're not exactly realistic targets for console sales.

at the same time there is zero grounds for expecting sales cant be higher than 10 million this year.

3DS sold in the 13-14 million in 2011 & again in 2012 bringing the total to 27 million so its not that farfetched to think 30 million is possible.
