Yeah actual costs for nintendo are probably abit lower than that.

I doubt Nintendo spends more than 240$ on it tbh..... This teardown cost analyse is higher than I suspected it would be.

This is depressing news for those hopeing it would get a early price cut.

Although... 

299$ for a home console today isn't a high one, as for hybrid console... You pay the half money than you would pay for buying wii u and 3ds!

The problem is with the handheld console only gamer ( 3ds )... And even with a big price drop of 60$, switch would still be expensive for them ( unless power of switch and its games superiority is enough for them to make the jump ) ! Not to mention portability...
