It also had the best Mario Kart, the best Smash, the best Donkey Kong, the best new Nintendo IP in a decade (splatoon), one of the best hack and slash ever (Bayonetta 2) and I can keep going on, I just have the feelling that some people decided the console was bad and literally not even the best game ever can change that.

I strongly dislike Mario Kart, and Splatoon is good but not my thing. I've already adressed Smash and Bayonetta in my original post, too. Never played the DK one, though.

You can keep going on, but you should also understand that I'm not making the valoration of WiiU in a light, thoughtless manner, and you posting a huge list of games isn't going to help for much, either, because I'm aware of WiiU's software offerings. Just like with Gamecube, which I love and whose games I adore, there's people that sees it as a failure with a weak library, and no matter how much I try highlighting virtues of it, it's not going to change people's perceptions. It's not my place to change their perception either if that's how they really feel about it, even if I don't share that sentiment (although I can understand going for the "highlighting the virtues" thing, since after all we're here because of games and we talk about games).

All I see from WiiU is an overpriced console with a software line-up that isn't good enough for me to consider it worth of being purchased; especially since, like I said at the start, I have some occasional access to it as well. It's probably among Nintendo's worst home consoles so far, in my eyes. Adressing the OP's question, no, it's not worth. If this supposedly means you're going to see me as someone that preconceived WiiU as bad no matter what Nintendo would do with it, then so be it.
