1. Xenoblade Chornicles X - I love this game so much. I did not finish playing it on the Wii U because my external hard drive crashed and took the save file with it and plus I do not really have time to play this type of game for long periods on a TV, so I hope a Switch port eventually happens so I can play it on the go.

2. Zelda BOTW - I played the Switch version because of portability, but I am sure I would have loved the Wii U version.

3. Bayonetta 2 - Another game I would not mind getting a port of for Switch

4. Mario Kart 8 - this was for me the best Mario Kart game ever. I was not really a fan of the series before this entry (this game is now tied with my other all-time favorite karting racer, which is Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing Transformed).

5. Rayman Legends - I bought this game on Wii U, Vita, and PC and I am super glad I did (in fact I plan on picking it up on Switch as well). This game is one of the most polished and creative platformers I have ever played.

6. Smash Bros 4 Wii U - It was a fantastic game to play with friends.

7. Game & Wario - I love the WarioWare mini-game collection series and I thought this to be a good entry. IMO it was the best tech demo for Wii U.

8. NSMBU - Best NSMB game and the second most innovative one for the series (the first being NSMBW, which introduced local single screen co-op); but still was disappointed with how little they changed the formula (Rayman Legends was a much more innovative game)

9. Super Mario 3D World - Co-op was great and I really liked the art style and stage design. Definitely not my favorite 3D Mario though (I think Sunshine, Galaxy, and Galaxy 2 all surpass it).

Here are some exclusives that I have not played extensively enough to formulate an opinion on: Pikmin 3, Tokyo Mirage Sessions, Pokken, and Paper Mario Color Splash.
