At this point, just leave as it is.There is no point in cutting the price(since the objective of that is to make people jump on the hardware for them to buy software) if they want people to buy Switches now.
Its better that, at this point in the 3DS life, to just maximize the profit they get at each unit, since the sales will be limited no matter what due to the hardware age.
