Why the "hardware hate" is so big these days?

that doesn't even make sense...... not buying say a switch because it lacks power which means it won't get certain trypes of games is a legitimate complaint and one that would affect the buying decison of millions. Even if most of those millions don't know they reason the console isn't getting the games they want to play is because its not powerful enough.

But people complaining about the PS4 vs the PS4pro is just flat out stupid when you consider that the only difference is a boost in resolution and/or better performance of the exacts same games. Its not like buying one over the other means you can't play some games.

Its not a legitimate complaint. If the console wont get certain games because it lacks power, then buy a more powerful console that will get those games. If you dont care enough to do some research about the console youre buying, then you are probably just buying whatever the console maker tells you to buy anyway.
