But even if you have to rip a game, that is not automatically illegal. There are dozens of countries where something like that would be perfectly legal. In germany it's legal if you are not bypassing any functional security measures (although until this very day nobody knows what the heck "functional" does exactly mean in this context, lulz). In other countries, you can make up to 5 legal copies. And like I said, local law always stands above what the manufacturer says.

Did you copy the bios from your ps2 yourself? Or download it from the internet?

Dumped it myself on my beatiful modded PS2 which I also used to run Linux! I also dumped the Bios of my GBA myself. I know that stuff quite well, I even was a developer for PSP homebrew back in the day. I'm just a little out of touch in the last few years, because my son was born in 2012 and since then I simply don't have the time to actively follow the scene. I pretty much don't have time for anything anymore, lol. Didn't stop me from modding both 3DS and Vita but so far I didn't have direct contact with cemu. But I can't imagine it's that much different from the old days. If you want, you can play games legally on an emulator. Probably most users don't do that. But it's just silly to condemn each and every user just because of that. Damn piracy all you want, but homebrew and emulators are awesome, have always been awesome and will always be awesome. That's really all I wanna say.
