I think you should give it another chance. It is a masterpiece, my top 10 game personally. Even if you somehow don't like it, it can't be named among the worst games because it has perfect mechanics, improved upon original's. The self parody that it delves into is one of the best comedy in games. My guess is that the humor flew over many peoples heads, but even then it's a third person non-cover bullet time shooter polished and refined to perfection, I am clueless how anyone could dislike it. I never liked any kinds of shooters but even I love it.
Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.
