Why do we focus on women's clothing?

That's just overly concerned parents and jealous boyfriends.

But as a man, my ex-girlfriend had a veto on what I was wearing, even though it wasn't about my outfit being revealing obviously.

And at the office, while no one will tell me what I should wear, every women here have a strong opinion on what I wear, how I wear it and what I should wear (I work in an office with 90+% of women)
