Is PC a safer purchase than consoles due to the volatility of the console market?

You can only win if you are having a competition.
As I wrote, Nintendo is irrelevant to Big 2 competition. Same with smartphone gaming.
When Nintendo is so problematic in basic categorization of which "gen" it belongs to, that is strong indication.

Nintendo isn't ireelevant to them. That's why Sony copied Wii with Move and MS wanted that Motion money with Kinect. Sony was scared Wii U might succeed so they included a touchpad like Sixaxis last minute motion.  Nintendo very much matters to them. Esp Sony. if not PSP nor PSvIta would exist. Nor would Kinect or Move. Comparing Nintendo so mobile games is nonsensical. They sold the most consoles. All that matters. They won. There is entire forums of people who only play Nintendo systems. I know some of these people. I don't dedicate myself only to Sony or Nintendo or MS. I play everything however I known plenty who are only PC or only Nintendo gamers. Just like there is plenty who only play Sony systems or MS systems.
