With the quote from Rime "“We set prices for our products based on the costs of development and publishing for each specific platform.”

So one can assume that cost of the cartridge = higher cost of the game.

Lego city undercover is $60 across the Switch/Ps4/Xbox one. So no increased price there. It is 20 gigs on the Wii u, and 7 gigs on the Switch. Where did the missing 13 go? Rumors go (at least as far as a Reddit article) that the other 13 gigs have to be downloaded.

So as the story goes assuming this trend continues which would you prefer. A game costing $10 more (rime/Minecraft story mode) or the game being split across the cartridge and a download?
