Jeez...I want this thing to succeed, and I'm happy to hear that the launch went well, but there are SO many red flags for me that I can't envision a scenario where I'd ever own one. Seriously, in terms of "nish nish" design choices, and just general weirdness, the Switch has more eyebrow raisers than any portable or home console I can think of. This one isn't especially terrible, and is thus far an isolated occurrence, but requiring essentially 2/3 of your physical game to be downloaded is absurd. The only worse instance of this I can recall was the Tony Hawk 5 shit show. I'd rather pay more and have the full game on the cart. Also, an option to buy a non baby-proof edition of games would be boss. I realize it's a benign substance, but I don't want that crap on my games, rubbing off onto my fingers and whatnot. It's breakfast time!
