Does Witcher 3 ever get good?

this was how i felt with botw. i sold it half way through. i couldnt stand it. and im a huge zelda fan! even have hyrule historia book. but it felt so boring and the fighting was not deep like witcher 3. *like changing signs* many times mid fight to defeat the monster how you like to do it.

Ive always liked Zelda games, but I love Wind Waker. BOTW just feels like WW on land imo. I really love it, but to each their own
