Pushing left wing agenda really I doubt it, both Democrats and Republicans are corparte whores that push the agenda of the people that gave them the most in donations. Also when it comes to goverment spendig Republicans always spend more because they love to spend money on defense spending and that is pretty much the biggest money pit you can spend money on. It only benefits a select few but it is very expensive and a lot of people get rich of it.
