I think it's a guarantee because Namco Bandai probably sees the potential in the series and will want to continue doing it on the Switch. But rather than port the game, maybe they'll create a new game using the same engine but expanding the game's mechanics and content as well as fixing all of the things that people complained about from the original game and reworking aspects of it to work on a single screen only kind of like what Nintendo is doing with Splatoon 2.

Considering there's probably only 12-15 Wii U games worth porting, that shouldn't be much of a problem. I'd say port 2-3 Wii U games per year. One each during July and August when Nitnendo typically doesn't put out any 1st party retail releases and maybe one once in a while during a slow winter/spring.
