I didn't have any problems with connecting or anything. There were a handful of other players disconnected, but every match I had ran smooth. Specific players were teleporting and glitchy, but everyone else in the match was working fine, so I assume it was their internet. Though, I'm using a wired connection, since WiFi gave me so many problems in Splatoon 1.
