?  My TV is 4096 x 2160, according to my PC.  3840 x 2160 images actually have black bars on the left and right.  Not the case with images that are 4096

Appearently Visio is (practically) the only brand that seems to do this. I don't know if there adapters available up to true 4k since its a platform that receives very few videosupport. Netflix and Ultra HD blu ray don't support it for instance, since those are limited to 3840. HDMI 2.1 should support it though a motherboard with HDMI 2.0 should also do the trick. It will also support HDR.
