I'm super fussy when it comes to futuristic racers and unless the controls feel right for me I lose interest very quickly. I remember Quantum Redshift on original xbox that looked amazing at the time but I didn't like the playability. Wipeout is a game that I have either liked or disliked purely on the feeling of controlling the game on the various versions. I tend to prefer cartoon racers like mario kart with wheels to be honest. I remember liking xgra I think it was called and super nintendo and n64 f zero games. I also have a soft spot for water based racing like wave race 64. Xgra was actually motorbikes I think but looked like wipeout which was a winning formula for me.
