oh I heard 6 months back when it was released that it was going to be a sem-annual fee or somethiing like that but one-time isnt bad. But dont they hit you with all those charges for the extras like Wii-Vote and crap.

Nope, Everybody Votes is also free, and will stay that way.

The only things that currently cost money online with the Wii are this browser and the Virtual Console. That's it.  They aren't nickle and diming people like the 360 is :p
