I'm going to move my question down here to get it out of the drama from up there.

How much do you think the EA access demo helped or hurt the sales?

I can see it helping because people were able to play the game and see if all the reviews were true or not. If playing the game and "disagreeing" with the reviews you would go ahead and buy it.

And of course if they play the demo and hated it, they wouldn't have gotten the game. Then again that is true of all demos.

Is a "paid" demo really any different than a free one though? Does it being 10 hours long make it better at selling the game or hurting it?

I was going to buy the game anyway but would have waited but aftyer loving the trial i bought it day one and that discount that EA gave was nice too.
