If Sony has milked Uncharted from 2007-2016 by releasing 5 mainline titles (1-4 & Golden Abyss), a compilation title, a card game spinoff and an expansion than i suppose Nintendo milked Metroid from 2002-2010.

So from 2007-16 Uncharted had 4 home console titles compared with 2 Mario Karts, 1 Zelda, 2 SMBros and 2 Smash.

Gran Turismo used to release every 2 years, I suspect it's only devtime that's holding back more regular releases. Crash Bandicoot used to be an annual release. Tekken was every other year. Killzone 2,3,4 are all separated by 2 years.

Mainline Metroids may have released every 2 years too but one took the game in a new/bad direction and it's hard to say Metroid is milked when it hasn't had a game for 7 years.

Whatever the milking metric is, Nintendo scores lower.

For Zelda, from 2007 to 2016 we had Link's Crossbow Training, Phantom Hourglass, Spirit Tracks, Skyward Sword, Ocarina of Time 3D, Wind Waker HD, Link Between Worlds, Hyrule Warriors, Majora's Mask 3D, Triforce Heroes, Hyrule Warriors Legends, Twilight Princess HD.

For Pokemon, from 2007 to 2016 we had Diamond/Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold/SoulSilver, Black/White, Black/White 2, X/Y, OmegaRuby/AlphaSapphire, Sun/Moon. Thats not including the 2 dozen or so spinoff titles.

The New Super Mario series had 4 games from 2006-2012, 3D Mario had 4 games from 2007-2013.

Mario Party has had 14 games from 1998 to 2016.

From 2010 to 2016 the Kirby franchise has gotten Epic Yarn, Mass Attack, Dream Collection, Return to Dreamland, Triple Deluxe, Rainbow Curse, Planet Robobot. That averages 1 Kirby game per year.

From 2012 to 2018 Fire Emblem will have 3 mainline titles, 2 spinoffs and a crossover title.

This is the 3rd consecutive year that a Boxboy game released.

From 2011 to 2015 we had 4 games in the Pushmo franchise.
