Switch is soon basically going to be the only portable system regardless of how you want to classify it.
3DS doesn't have long to live, lets be honest, and Vita is basically dead already. Switch is the only system you can use as a portable that won't be a dead ecosystem in a year's time.
Monster Hunter is primarily a portable franchise.
