Breath of the Wild usually gives you room to be nice to animals - that is, except those fucking wolves. Those are just assholes regardless of what you do, so I always kill them (which doesn't stop me from feeling bad about it).

To be honest it has gotten to the point where I even feel bad about killing monsters.
