If you're interested in the period and the historical figures involved, I recommend watching the mini-series Shogun, which is a semi-fictionalized retelling of the period involing the same British guy that nioh's protagonist is based on. Helps contextualise what's happening. |
Shame its so dark. But I'll give it a try.
I've studied a bit of Japanese History in college. So I'll give Shogun a shot when I get the time!
