Ugh, reminds me of that mechanic in I am Alive, where you are carrying a gun that barely has one or two bullets, then you find these survivors that don't want you near them and threaten you with a gun. If you aggro them, they'll always shoot you until you die, but if for some reason you choose to kill them (even when reloading a checkpoint) they'll suddenly have only one bullet (or none at all! it was a bluff all along!). xD
