Just completely mis-treat your Switch like my PSP. Scratched to hell, faulty umd drive, dead pixels galore, even when the PSP had value no one wanted it. It was just dropped far too many times. Also seen iphones that look fit for the bin that some people have got after much abuse, now with very little value. Even to the point where they have to scroll the text so its a position away from the cracks in the screen to make it readable.
I suspect it won't be long before a few cartridge slot covers get lost, stand gets broken off and the screen gets scratched up just by putting it in the dock. Also seems like a lot of Switch's are developing dead pixels.
Alternatively do what some people do for bicycles, grunge them up to make them less appealing to thieves. Horrible stickers and awful repainting.
