One shuld never apologise for a joke. If a joke is in poor taste, ignore it and move on. Jokes should live and die on what people find funny. If people don't find it funny, it will die on it's own. It's ridiculous how every other joke has to start a controversy.

Same sitation as with Pewdiepie, yes, his humor is trash, but if you don't like it, ignore it and move on with your life. Instead of looking for problems where there aren't any. I looked up what Pewdiepie is doing after the incident of WSJ trying to ruin his career over poor taste jokes, and he seems to not care anymore, and just go completely over the top with his tasteless humor even more so than before. And I am glad for it.

I get he didnt needed to apologise to a joke that was not funny but people have to right to not laugh at it or in this case they told him the joke was lame. And what did he do? Called them humourless sacks of shit for no finding a lame dad joke funny. The joke was not the problem but his behaviour after the joke. For a dude that made a joke to provoke a reaction he sure does not know how to deal with criticism. I dont think it woulb be drama if he didnt made the second tweet. Its sad to see this to be honest.

Hard for me to even have a good perspective on this since I mostly stay away from all internet drama bs. In the end both sides will be convinced more than before that they are right, and hate the other side for it.

It just frustrates me when things like this start, and people just can't get along, but I guess that's the internet for us.
