The biggest reason BotW's world is so amazing is because the whole world is treated like a collection of levels with real, unrealistic, level design rather than an actual, realistic open world. If that is what it takes then more of that please. Yet I doubt Ni No Kuni 2 will come close. Just cause has that emergent gameplay freedom too btw but Zelda found the right balance between freedom and level design / story.
