Except market share is done in percentages rather than absolute numbers. So with the Vita likely seeing no succesor and Xbox not looking too great, Nintendo may well be able to pull off a bigger market share with the Switch than they could with 3DS+Wii U, even if sales aren't as high.

That's why I corrected myself.  I was using the wrong term.  Nintendo's install base is the correct one
