If you are very carefull you won't scratch it but if you just slide it in in a hurry theres deff a chance it might scratch from what i've seen, the best thing would be a redesign of the docking station.
Personally I don't have a switch yet but I won't be installing the docking station and just use it as a handheld once the price goes down and there are more games and buy a nic carry case
