I am hoping they do some out-doorish environments, one of the best things about transitioning from Unreal Tournament to Unreal Tournament 2003, was how some maps opened up... So hopefully they take the same approach with Quake Champions. |
At first I originally hated the idea of having "champions" for the upcoming game, but over time I decided that I'm going to give it a shot, same with UT.
I thought CSGO/Dota2/LoL had the majority of the esports crowd?, well most I've seen are on PC anyway, with the outside type crowds and games being on Rocketleague and CoD, possibly Smite, but that would be small and also some Street Fighter, but that's always going to be limited per title.
I'd also love for some open ended maps, maps that come with all sorts of twists and turns as well as neat vantage points (that could also lead to your demise if you aren't aware). The other good thing about QC, is they will sport a mode to play the game without Champs using their pwoers, so that crowd that wants to play like it's Vanilla Quake can do so.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
